 nowledge regarding the Energy from Waste plant in Plymouth. Her role is to
  educate the community about how the plant operates and how it is benefici
 al to the future energy demand of the South West.\n\nDescription : The Ins
 titution of Mechanical&nbsp\;Engineers&nbsp\;Devon &amp\; Cornwall Area Co
 mmittee&nbsp\;would like to invite you to&nbsp\;a technical visit of the E
 nergy from Waste plant based in Devonport\, Plymouth.&nbsp\; This tour wil
 l be two fold\, a presentation about how the facility operates followed by
  a tour of the facility itself.\nOn the day we will be led by the knowledg
 eable Community Liaison Manager Jane Ford\, the tour is scheduled to take 
 1.5 - 2 hours.\n\nPlease bring with you a Hi-Vis jacket and wear sensible 
 clothing (Long sleeved clothing is a must otherwise you will not be allowe
 d on site\, stout footwear is also a requirement).\n\n\n\n\n**Please remem

 &nbsp\;Spaces are limited so be quick!**\n\nWe hope that this visit will c

 eral public. \n\nThe committee seeks to bring together aspiring\, developi
 ng\, and experienced engineers\, and members of the general public to prom
 ote the benefits and achievements of the engineering profession.\n\nThe ne
 wly formed Cornwall branch will organise a wide portfolio of events and ac
 tivities\, most of which will be open to the general public and free to at
 tend.&nbsp\; These will include evening lectures for general interest\; te
 chnical visits to local engineering firms\; social and professional networ
 king events\; engineering competitions\; and mentoring opportunities for l
 ocal students and professional engineers.\n\nIn addition\, the committee w
 ill engage with local schools to support the teaching of Science\, Technol
 ogy\, Engineering\, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects and offer careers advi
