 ornwall Area Committee would like to invite you to a two fold CPD event. \
 n\nFirstly\nSamantha Ansell will give a presentation on the importance of 
 STEM\n(Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Mathematics) in today's soci
 ety\nalong with information on how to become a STEM ambassador.\n\nThis\nw
 ill then be followed by a presentation from Alan King\, our Area\nBusiness
  Development Executive. Alan will discuss what the IMechE can do\nfor you\
 , how to get involved and much more!\n\nFinally there will be an opportuni
 ty to network following the event.\n\nAlan\njoined the Institution of Mech
 anical Engineers as a Business\nDevelopment Executive in 2004. With a back
 ground in both engineering and\nbusiness\, he brings a knowledgeable blend
  of skills and experience to\nthe role.\n\nSamantha Ansell is the STEM man
 ager for Education\nBusiness Partnership-South West. She manages the STEMN
 ET contract for\nDevon and Cornwall\, providing advice and guidance for an
 ything and\neverything STEM related. \n\nThis FREE event is open to member
 s\, non-member and the general public.\n\n**Please remember to book your t
