This means you have two optio ns to choose from when registering:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuild on the day- Feel li ke you can build your vessel in 3 hours? This is the one for you!\n\n  \;\n\nPre-Build - If you feel you need more than 3 hours to perfect your d esign\, register for pre-build and lift the pressure off your build. Just turn up on the day with your vessel and your sea legs ready to race! We wi ll provide \;workshops with all the materails required if you feel you need a bit of a steer for just £\;5. \; \n \;\nTo find out m ore information for the prebuild workshops and register for the event plea se click the button below  \;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHave you got what it ta kes to be crowned champion of the cardboard vessels? \n\n​Be BRAVE sign up NOW. \n\nIt costs £\;20 to enter a team of up to 6 people and you MU ST register in advance. \; \; For teams with under 18 members ther e must be at least one responsible adult \;and those who wish to get i n the water must be able to swim!\n\n​\n\nThe Institution of Mechanical En gineers will provide you with all of the equipment and materials you need to build your boat and the \n\n\nPlymouth and Devon Schools Sailing Associ ation\n\n\n will provide you with everything you need to sail it. \; T his includes buoyancy aids\, and a safety boat crewed by RYA qualified ins tructors.\n\nIf you would rather just watch then there will be plenty of o ther activities going on including\;\n\n The Plymouth and Devon Schools Sailing Association who will explain how you can learn to sail and take p art in the weekly dinghy racing series in Plymouth Sound.\n\n\n A STEM stand by The City College who are this year's Ocean City Festival headline sponsor.\n\n\n A range of additional engaging STEM workshops aimed at all ages. \n\nChallenge your mates\, bring your family or rouse your work mates.
