 ge Autonomous Metro\n\n\n\nTalk details:\nThe Cambridge Autonomous Metro i
 s an ambitious project to connect Cambridge and surrounding areas with a u
 nique public transport solution. Combining our unique medieval city with a
  modern infrastructure project is a significant challenge. Our speakers le
 d&nbsp\;the work of the project's Technology&nbsp\;Advisory Committee whic
 h produced a deliverable proposal for the project last year. Following the
  announcement of three new&nbsp\;concepts\, our speakers will discuss the 
 engineering challenges\, proposed solutions and the benefits it could brin
 g to the city.\n\nAbout the speakers:\nDavid Cleevely was chair of the Cam
 bridge Autonomous Metro Technology Advisory Committee and is a serial entr
 epreneur having founded or co-founded numerous companies. These have inclu
 ded telecoms consultancy Analysis Mason and the antibody company Abcam wit
 h Dr Jonathan Milner David is chair of four companies\, including the awar
 d-winning restaurant Bocca di Lupo in Soho. He&rsquo\;s been a member of t
 he Ofcom Spectrum Advisory Board and of the Ministry of Defence Board over
 seeing information systems and services. David studied cybernetics at Read
 ing University and received a PhD from Cambridge. He is a Fellow of both t
 he Royal Academy of Engineering and the IET.\nProfessor John Miles is a Fe
 llow of Emmanuel College and the Arup/Royal Academy of Engineering Researc
 h Professor in Transitional Energy Strategies. John has 40 years leading h
 igh-tech projects in energy and transport through a career at global Engin
 eering consultancy\, Arup. His interests include the technology and econom
 ics of future transport systems\, with a particular emphasis on future sys
 tems and environmental impact. John is a member of the UK Automotive Counc
