 ents auctions. He undertook various roles en route to becoming an auctione
 er\, under the guidance of that most respected auctioneer\, Cecil Bruton\,
  and the first antiques broadcasting guru\, Arthur Negus. Simon became res
 ponsible for the organisation of the most important large country house sa
 les in the Cotswolds and beyond. Clocks\, watches and English furniture ar
