  evening will feature talks from Professor Paul de Leeuw and Martyn Tulloc
 h\, who will explore major developments in the UK&rsquo\;s energy landscap
 e and the technologies driving the transition to net zero.\n\nPaul\, Direc
 tor of RGU&rsquo\;s Energy Transition Institute\, will discuss how recent 
 international events&mdash\;such as the US elections and COP29&mdash\;impa
 ct the UK&rsquo\;s offshore energy sector. Drawing on his extensive experi
 ence\, Paul will share his perspective on how these shifts influence polic
 y and opportunities within the energy transition.\n\nMartyn\, Director of 
 Energy Transition at the Net Zero Technology Centre\, will provide insight
 s into the Centre&rsquo\;s latest projects\, including advancements in hyd
 rogen production\, CO2 import infrastructure\, and offshore wind innovatio
 ns. His talk will highlight how these initiatives support the UK&rsquo\;s 
 move toward a low-carbon future.\n\nEach speaker will follow their present
