The continued increase globally in seasona l temperatures and the severity and frequency of heatwaves will severely i mpact all liveable aspects of life on Earth. Tim will highlight how critic al cooling infrastructure is at the core of many of the viable solutions n eeded to ensure our ability to survive and thrive in these new conditions\ , as well as the role engineering will play in ensuring a successful outco me for humanity.\nFor adaptation to be effective and a resilient outcome e nvisaged for humanity\, the consequences for a world without cooling as cr itical infrastructure needs to be fully understood: food insecurity\, inef fective health systems\, overheating buildings\, failing digital technolog y\; lost workplace output and economic productivity\; increased migration\ , and exacerbated disparities and divides. Tim will discuss these conseque nces along with the central role of Clean Cooling in helping to tackle the m.
