 amp\; Steam Festival 2025 &ndash\; a unique celebration of heritage engine
 ering\, local food\, and community spirit.\nThis is a fantastic opportunit
 y for engineers\, families\, and friends to experience the sights\, sounds
 \, and smells of steam power in action while enjoying some of Devon&rsquo\
 ;s finest sausages and ciders.\n\nAbout the Festival\nStep back in time an
 d immerse yourself in the golden age of steam at the Robey Trust&rsquo\;s 
 workshops and exhibition site in Tavistock.\nHighlights include:\n\n    \n
     🚂 Steam and heritage artefacts on display &ndash\; from miniature tra
 ins to mighty traction engines.\n    \n    \n    ⚙️ Live engineering demon
 strations in the bustling workshops.\n    \n    \n    🚜 Vintage tractors 
 and stationary engines at work.\n    \n    \n    🎡 &lsquo\;Round Robin&rs
 quo\; steam-hauled trailer rides running hourly.\n    \n    \n    🍴 A mou
 th-watering selection of homemade cakes\, locally sourced BBQ\, and tradit
 ional Devon ciders.\n    \n\nThe festival offers something for all ages &n
 dash\; whether you&rsquo\;re a dedicated steam enthusiast\, an engineer fa
 scinated by heritage machinery\, or simply looking for a fun and family-fr
 iendly day out.\n\nThe IMechE at the Festival\nMembers of the IMechE Devon
  &amp\; Cornwall Area Committee will be attending across the weekend. Come
  and meet us\, chat with fellow engineers\, and explore the world of mecha
