 hop and talk by Thaila Waste Management's education lead Jon Crisp.\nThali
 a Waste Management provides a complete waste management service for Cambri
 dgeshire County Council. This includes recycling\, composting and the trea
 tment of &lsquo\;black bag&rsquo\; waste\, while delivering a range of was
 te services from their 300-acre Waste Management Park at Waterbeach &ndash
 \; about three miles north of Cambridge.&nbsp\;More than 300\,000 tonnes o
 f waste&nbsp\;is processed at the Waste Management Park&nbsp\;each year. O
 ver half of this is composted or recycled.\n\nThalia operate nine recyclin
 g centres across the county and two waste transfer stations. They also pro
 vide services for trade customers including schools\, Health and social ca
 re providers and local businesses.\n\nThalia's facilities include:&nbsp\;\
 n\n    Mechanical Biological Treatment plant for &lsquo\;black bag&rsquo\;
  waste\n    In-Vessel Composting facility. This turns biodegradable wastes
  into a high-quality soil improver\n    Materials Recycling site to proces
 s mixed recyclables collected from households and businesses in Cambridges
 hire and Peterborough ('Recap').\n\n \nThere will be a hands on element to
  the evening where attendees will work together to identify and sort types
  of waste. Followed by a quiz and talk on the decomposition of waste and t
 he advantages and disadvantages of recycling.\n\n\nFor further information
