 ther see the Clifton Rocks railway or a tour of Bristol suspension bridge.
 \nThe Clifton Rocks Railway was a major engineering achievement in the 189
 0s and operated for 40 years\, transporting people from Hotwells Road to C
 lifton in passenger cars running in a tunnel in the Avon gorge on steeply 
 inclined tracks. \nThe tour will be an extended tour down in to the tunnel
 s.&nbsp\; The railway encompasses such a huge amount of Bristol’s and gene
 ral engineering history.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;This&nbsp\;tour is not one to be mis
 sed!\nThe Clifton Suspension Bridge is World famous and one of the essenti
 al things to see in the West Country. &nbsp\;&nbsp\; The bridge is a beaut
 iful piece of engineering lovingly maintained by the Trustees and in bette
 r condition now than it was when built!&nbsp\;\nFollowing the tour\, we wi
 ll be meeting in the Avon Gorge hotel for some nibbles and a drink with a 
 chance to get to know other local Young Members and network with them.\n\n
