 ;s Panel is delighted to announce its second cardboard boat race\, followi
 ng a successful (yet wet)&nbsp\;inaugural event last year!&nbsp\;We are of
 fering you the chance to take part in our build and race (or sink!) day\, 
 planned to take place at the M-Shed during the Harbour Festival in Bristol
 . \n\nThis is your opportunity to build a vessel made entirely of cardboar
 d which is capable of transporting two people a distance of 250m. The fast
 est boat to complete our circuit will win the race. The most innovative an
 d the most ridiculous boats to enter will also be rewarded. \n\nIf all tha
 t doesn&rsquo\;t float your boat\, we are also working with the Young Ship
 wrights Annual Boat Race organisers who will be giving groups of children 
 an opportunity to build their very own miniature sailing boats before our 
 race. We are looking for volunteers to get involved and support this event
  by helping the children build their own boats.\n\nThis event is open to a
 ll\, but teams wishing to enter should declare their interest by the 11th 
 of July 2014.\n\nPlease note the above times are estimates and will be con
