 ion of the facilities at the Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre (PEMC)\n\
 n\n\n\n\nThanks\nto recent ERDF investment\, the PEMC is now equipped with
  a suite of\nleading-edge electron microscopes and associated analytical e
 quipment (e.g confocal and light microscopes)\, to meet\nthe needs of indu
 stry. \n\nBy visiting the PEMC with the IMechE\, you will have the\nopport
 unity to meet the technical team and view relevant investigations which\nh
 ighlight the imaging and analysis capability of the Centre\, using techniq
 ues\nsuch as EDS\, large area mapping and EBSD for crystallographic study\
 , which have\nbeen carried out for both small and large international comp
 anies. &nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese techniques help companies to:\n\n\n&mi
