A presentation to convey current Cyber Security threats, risks and issues effecting Critical National Infrastructure organisations, before deliberating on how to communicate effectively to senior decision makers not only the need for ownership and action but what governance and operational actions to take and when.

Emphasising the need for proportionality, relevance and applicability, the Speaker will discuss how Board members typically listen to specialist advice and may act in consequence, supporting IMechE members and guests in being able to address technically complex and challenging messages to a senior audience whose priorities and attention may be elsewhere
