Vivarail have become leaders in the field, which has led to an increasing number of enquiries from all over the world. Complimenting this technology is their soon-to-be-approved fast charging apparatus which will set the UK standard for such equipment. David Horton, Vivarail’s Chief Engineer, will tell the story so far of this homegrown engineering success story of Vivarail who are renowned for ‘getting things done’, as well as setting out aspirations for the future.

Dave Horton joined Vivarail as Chief Engineer in September 2018,having graduated from Imperial College in 2007.His initial working years were spent at Bombardier Transportation followed by a short spell as CME of a leading UK heritage railway
