SYNOPSIS
Advancement of aircraft engineering and technology escalated exponentially after the first successful flight by the Wright Brothers. Despite the success of mankind and flight, there were many technical challenges associated with the development the flying machines in terms of engineering design and technologies. While aircrafts are one of the safest vehicles to transport passengers and cargo, there were still incidents and accidents that occurred historically. Each incident and accidents data captured were analyzed carefully to identify the errors in order to make improvement to the engineering design and technologies involved. The result of the analysis and improvement required affects engineers in terms of designs, operations, work processes as well as executing their crucial roles. In this webinar, the speaker will share some of the aviation accidents that have taught engineers on their ability to make changes in design and technology for the safety of the aircraft and public.
