HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway, is now being built. HS2 trains will link four of the UK’s five largest economic regions, the Scottish Central Belt, the North West, West Midlands and South East. Building Britain’s first new intercity railway north of London in 100 years is a huge undertaking. Peter will give an update on the progress being made building Europe’s largest infrastructure project, with focus on the construction of Old Oak Common station, which is set to be the best-connected and largest new railway station ever built in the UK.

Light refreshments will be served from 17:30 with the talk starting at 18:00.

Attendees are encouraged to attend in-person to take advantage of networking and engagement with our speaker. An online option will be provided using Teams.
