Description

This site visit to Oldham Wastewater Treatment Works will explain how the wastewater coming from the urban areas is treated in a Wastewater treatment site.
The visit will begin with a safety induction to ensure that all delegates are aware of key safety considerations when on a treatment site. This will be followed by a concise introduction to the wastewater treatment process, providing essential context before the tour.
The delegates will then be taken round the site, guided by experienced presenters who will highlight each stage of the process such as Preliminary Treatment, Primary Treatment, and beyond. The delegates will also have the opportunity to learn about critical assets involved in the treatment process such as Pumps, blowers etc.
