Description

A guided tour of the record-breaking SwissFEL – Swiss X-ray Free Electron Laser, a 740-meter-long X-ray free-electron laser facility delivering extremely intense X-ray pulses with femtosecond to attosecond pulse durations:

Reservation possible until 3rd July for 40 persons.

The tour is in English and free of charge. The guided tour will start with an introduction semiar in the PSI visitor center and is proceeded by a guided tour of the SwissFEL tunnel. Since a tour is only possible during the revision period, changes or cancellation may occur. Minimum age: 16 years.
