IMechE Benelux Meeting

Virtual Session on Human Factors

All IMechE members in Belgium, Luxembourg or Netherlands of all grades are encouraged to attend in person or remotely

You are invited to a meeting for all IMechE Europe members for a discussion how subsurface hazards and how Shell Learning's use human factors. Shell Exploration and Production drills oil and gas wells around the world.  Uncertainties in  the subsurface create situations where staff have to make decisions that  are key to preventing or mitigating an incident, in stressful and adverse environments. This session will share how staff are prepared for  successful outcomes.

All industries have the potential for disruption from a variety of sources;  supply chain failures, cybersecurity, production equipment failures  etc  which have to be dealt with in real time, with a time constrained analysis and decision-making process making this session relevant to  many organizations.
