This talk explores how structural testing underpins the safety, performance, certification and operation of modern aircraft. Drawing on experience from airframe engineering and structural testing projects, David Eyre-Jackson will highlight how testing provides design data, verifies designs, validates manufacturing methods and supports aircraft operation whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. Attendees will gain insight into how structure testing integrates with the complete product life cycle from initial concepts through development to the delivery of certified products and their ongoing operation.
