The aim of the symposium is to present and discuss the experience of British Engineers gained during the planning and construction of the Infrastructure for the Olympic Summer Games in London in 2012. The successful completion of the project on-time and under budget had already found interest given the current difficulties experienced on several major projects in Germany.

Sustainability and regeneration considerations were also of vital importance. The symposium will present papers on Project Management, Contractual and Sustainability aspects together with a keynote Address by the Chairman of The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), Sir John Armitt.
