The FREITAG factory tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Nœrd industrial complex in Zurich-Oerlikon, where retired truck tarps are transformed into unique, upcycled bags. Led by members of the "F-Crew", the tour will provide insight into the brand's circular philosophy and its intricate production stages.

Tour Highlights

• The Tarp Transformation: Witness the heavy-duty process of disassembling massive truck tarps, removing straps and buckles with hand tools and "elbow grease".
• Eco-Friendly Washing: Visit the basement to see the industrial washroom, which uses recycled rainwater collected from the Nœrd building's roof to clean 5–8 years of road grime off the tarps.
• Precision Cutting: Observe bag designers in the high-ceilinged main hall as they use transparent templates to hand-cut one-of-a-kind patterns from the colorful tarps, ensuring minimal waste.
• Sustainable Architecture: Explore the 10,000-square-meter Nœrd facility, featuring a lush rooftop garden, a staff canteen, and vibrant "biopoint" relaxation areas designed for over 120 employees.
