IMechE has a local membership base in Texas supported by a group located in Houston.
We are available to support local and visiting Young Members, Associates, Members and Fellows in matters related to IMechE applications for membership, CPD advice, attaining the PE qualification and general guidance on the challenges of relocation from the UK to Texas and the USA.
Our aspiration is to bring the local IMechE population together for regular technical and social events, with the aim of supporting the Institution's vision to improve the world through engineering by promoting the profession and helping engineers build their careers and take on the challenges that, when solved, will make a difference to all of us.
The group is also interested in forming partnerships and contacts with other local businesses and institutions. Please get in touch or come along to a meeting to see what we can offer.
