Description
The Engineering Council (UK) and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES, USA) have established a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), creating a pathway for experienced engineers to gain professional recognition across both jurisdictions.
This webinar will provide an overview of how UK Chartered Engineers (CEng), holding International Professional Engineer (IntPE) status, can pursue licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in participating US states through this agreement.
-
- The structure and purpose of the EngC UK – NCEES USA Mutual Recognition Agreement
- Eligibility requirements, including CEng and IntPE registration
- Key steps to apply for a PE licence in participating US states
-
- Chartered Engineers (CEng) interested in working or practising in the USA
- Engineers considering International Professional Engineer (IntPE) registration
The MRA applies to engineers who hold both professional registration (CEng or PE) and International Professional Engineer (IntPE) status. It enables a more efficient process for demonstrating competence for independent practice when seeking recognition in the “host” jurisdiction.
The webinar is free to attend. We will start at 2pm (UK Time). A MS Teams invite will be issued 24hrs ahead of the webinar. Please add this event to your diary in the meantime.
