Description
An overview of the On-Track-Plant (OTP) and On-Track-Machines (OTM) that Network Rail own or have available to them for the purpose of maintaining, renewing and enhancing the national rail infrastructure.
Each machine type will be focused on to explain the business benefit, operational requirements and functionality.
The talk will additionally acknowledge the supporting supply chain and industry that has developed to respond to the challenge of maintaining infrastructure resilience and increasing capacity at a time when rail has seen unprecedented growth and increased traffic.

Paul Long has worked for Network Rail for 11 years in variety of projects and fleet engineering roles
Paul Conway has worked in the rail industry for seven years, including latterly an 18 month period as the Professional Head of Plant and T&RS for Network Rail.
