Description
The Address will have the new Railway Division Chairman Richard McClean consider the appropriate role of engineering and engineers in contributing to the future railway industry in a complex and changing world. In doing so, he will consider what the broader economy and society appears to require of the rail sector and what rail can realistically offer back so as to remain relevant to politicians, funders, suppliers, end users and staff. The address will highlight what the rail industry needs to do to become more attractive as a career choice for new generations of potential engineers and what the Railway Division should focus on to support this
