Complexity in modern vehicle design has gone from the unmanageable to the unimaginable. The accelerating pace of electrification and market change threaten to overwhelm traditional development methods whether early-stage concept design or later stage system performance optimisation. This talk will use real-world examples, including from OEMs like Mazda, to show how advanced machine learning (ML) techniques can transform this entire value chain. Discover how data-efficient ML makes high-dimensional design a reality by enabling 3X more feasible designs in half the time, with 80% fewer simulations. Learn how new insights empower engineers to make robust decisions earlier, significantly reducing late change risks. This technology also addresses the industry's shift towards virtualisation by cutting soaring test cell operating costs and managing the evolving complexity of system calibration.
