John Allan from the International Aviation Academy in Norwich will discuss his career in the Aviation sector. John started working for Rolls-Royce on aircraft engines before transitioning to working for an aircraft operator and maintenance organisation in Norwich. He has held various roles, such as an Engineering Consultant and as a Quality Manager for an EASA Part 145 organisation. He also has experience in the quality and operations management for light aircraft manufacturing.
John will also discuss the Aviation Skills Partnership (ASP), its objectives and strategy as well as how they will meet the Aviation Industry’s requirements. The talk will also cover the Engineering qualifications on offer at IAA-N including the combined BSc (Hons) and EASA Part 66 licence Professional Aircraft Engineering Practice qualification.
