Technical Lecture Details
Dr Nikolaos Korfiatis will be providing a Technical Lecture on Artificial Intelligence and how this is going to impact Business and Engineering.
Dr Korfiatis is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Business Analytics at Norwich Business School (NBS) and member of the Innovation, Technology and Operations Management Research Group (ITOM). He is also an affiliated faculty at the Center for Competition Policy (CCP) at the University of East Anglia. Previously he worked as Senior Researcher at the Chair for Databases and Information Systems at the Department of Informatics of the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany.
He co-founded together with Professor Roberto Zicari the Big Data Laboratory of the Goethe University and acted as a Director for Analytics and Data Science. He completed his PhD in 2009 at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Denmark and holds an MSc in Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm specialising in Information Retrieval
