Welcome to the Eastern Region Summer 2019

Dear Members and visitors to this page,

I am very disappointed to announce that the ‘New Members Welcome’ event at Duxford has been cancelled due to the low take up by members. This was surprising after last year’s very successful event. One contributory factor may have been members inadvertently opting out of Eastern Region emails due to the introduction of GDPR rules since the previous event. If you wish to receive Area and Regional emails concerning upcoming events please log in to your IMechE account select ‘my profile’, ‘mailing preferences’ followed by ‘updates and events from local member networks’.

For those who had booked for the Duxford event, please accept my apologies for your inconvenience and I thank you for your loyalty. Payment will be refunded in due course.

This autumn is when your area and panel events activities kick off. Please support our events this autumn and, if you enjoy these, join your area committee and take part.
