The three topics for 2022 are (very briefly)
a) To design an SUV that has the ability to drop into a common chassis any of three propulsion options; a BEV; a Fuel Cell EV or an H2 ICE powertrain. (Automotive Engineering MSc)
b) To explore roll stiffness control for enhanced handling of  performance vehicles (Automotive Mechatronics MSc)
c) To investigate the practical challenges of autonomous navigation in a well-structured, but unexplored, environment made of coloured cones. ( CAVE MSc)

The MSc Group Design Project is a team-based activity for students to apply their MSc course learning to a technical challenge created by the academic team with industrial input. The objective is to stretch the groups with an open-ended technical challenge and deliver their innovative design in a relatively short timescale.

Note: this is free and organised and run by Cranfield University. For further information, of the day's program and how to attend will be sent by email beforehand. YOU MUST CONTACT

Cranfield Automotive MSc student teams will give their presentations for this applied, multidisciplinary technical challenge guided by the Automotive Industrial Advisory Board. The 8 teams will cover three different topics and are guaranteed to show some highly professional and innovative ideas.
