Martin Broadhurst, President of the Royal Aeronautical Society, will present a lecture entitled "The Royal Aeronautical Society - Past, Present & Future", which will touch briefly on the history of the Society from its origins and catalogue some of the major developments over the past 150 years. The lecture will present an overview of the Society today and Martin will reflect on his year as President prior to considering some of the developments which RAeS will face during the coming decades.

Time: Tea served from 7pm. Talk starts at 7.30pm. Ends around 9pm following discussion.

Venue: Lecture Theatre 0, Cambridge University Engineering Department, Trumpington Street, Cambridge CB2 1PZ (directions).

Parking: There is limited parking available on site. The number of parking spaces available in front of the Engineering Department building is considerably reduced due to ongoing construction works. There are however further parking spaces available at the rear of the site.

Visitors welcome. Booking not required. RAeS members, students and young people free. Visitors (including IMechE members) who are not members of the RAeS will be invited to make a £5 donation.
