Description

BSI (British Standards Institution) is the UK’s national standards body (NSB) and the first national standards body to be created. As an independent organization established by Royal Charter in 1901, BSI plays a crucial role in representing UK economic and societal interests across European and international standards organizations. BSI’s commitment lies in enabling the development of standards needed by industry and society while also safeguarding the environment. BSI publishes around 2,500 standards annually and empowers close to 14,000 standards-makers to influence the standards that matter to them.
