Description
Crossrail, the project has a central section which has platform screen doors on the underground stations and a metro style signalling system with ATO; this interfaces with many other systems including the tunnel ventilation system. On the East and West ends of the line the trains have to interface with the existing signalling systems including AWS/TPWS and ETCS level 2. This and many other systems need to be properly integrated into the whole railway system before Crossrail, the project, can become the Elizabeth line, the operating railway.
