The talk will be on
The history and development of Birmingham based ‘Vintage Trains’ to Train Operating Company status, together with the Tyseley collection of steam and diesel locomotives, including the application of modern technology to heritage stock to enable main line operation.

About our speaker
Our speaker, Mike Corbett, was formerly a senior engineering manager and director within the rail industry and is currently a volunteer with the Vintage Trains Charitable Trust. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a Member of the Association of Project Management.
