This annual Human Powered Flight Group lecture will be presented by Jonathan Howes FRAeS, Howes Aero-Nautics Ltd.

The lecture is a continuation of an investigation into the reduction of an aircraft to the bare, uncompromised minimum using aero-mechanical servo techniques to provide stability and control of statically unstable configurations.

Jonathan Howes FRAeS, Howes Aero-Nautics Ltd

Jonathan is an aeronautical engineer with an interest in innovative approaches to the enhancement of efficiency within many areas of engineering. He has worked in several disciplines including wind tunnel testing, weapon development, safety regulation, hydrofoil development and utility scale energy storage. Jonathan is a hang glider pilot and offshore sailor, and is a cross country runner.
