General Aviation, and particularly its lighter side, is seeing  a perfect coming-together of different recent technologies that are firing the imagination of design engineers.

Hundreds of projects have been started but there are early signs of maturing from a wide range of formats . The webinar will touch on the many drivers for low emission flight, will examine the enabling technologies and will discuss some of the choke points.

Low emission aviation is inevitable and the lighter side of general aviation is pathfinding the technologies, the infrastructure and the regulatory environment for the whole future of aviation.

Speaker(s)

Charles Clarke is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society’s General Aviation Group. The day job involves proposing, designing and testing renewable energy schemes and maintaining emission data for one of the UK’s energy intensive industry sectors.
