The competition is open for Affiliate members, Associate members, and members who have been professionally registered for 10 years or fewer.

Competitors must give an oral presentation on a subject relating to mechanical engineering. The presentation must not exceed 15 minutes and will be followed by 5 minutes for questions from a panel of judges. 90% of the mark relates to presentation skills, only 10% is for technical content.

THESE ARE THE ONLY STIPULATIONS - THE REST IS UP TO YOU

The winner of the heat will progress to the UK & Ireland Regional Finals, before hopefully competing in the Global Final.
