Engineering Day Flyer V3 Oct'22

This year the Merseyside and N Wales Region of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will once again be hosting the “Engineering Day” as part of the annual Wirral Arts Festival.

Climate change is probably the greatest challenge currently facing mankind. So once again the Engineering Day will focus on climate change and the solutions that Engineering has to offer.

Whilst the talks and speakers have yet to be finalised the themes will be around climate change and it’s consequences, the impact of the Oceans on Climate change and options for the generation of low carbon energy.

Tea and coffee will be provided in the Hall free of charge.

A breakdown of speakers and times is on the attached poster.

The Hall is conveniently located on the main street of Heswall where a wide variety of Coffee Shops etc. are located and able to provide a wide range of meals and refreshments.  Time will be provided within the program for participants to make use of these facilities.

Whilst booking by I.Mech.E. members via “Near You” is preferable it is not essential.  All interested persons are welcome and free to simply turn up on the day for all or as many of the sessions as they wish

Pay and display car parking is available at the rear of the hall (Mount Avenue)
