Farwell to Magnox - Seminar - Oct 2015

IMechE is part of the Joint Institution Group that supported this half day seminar, organised by the IOP and Wylfa staff covering the history and evolution of Magnox reactors, their contribution to UK electricity generation and the future of the site on Angelsey.
Over 140 delegates attended the event, ranging from 6th form and university students to current and retired staff from Wylfa (including the sites first Director) and supporting industries.
The event received excellent feedback and thanks must go to Tom Namgauds for spearheading the organisation of the event.
