19 off attendees ( a max of 20off can be accommodated) were given a highly informative presentation on the history of the RNLI, in particular the history of the Hoylake station and the Liverpool area of activity.
The Hoylake station was toured, and the Shannon Class boat and its launch system was viewed and described in detail. The hovercraft vessel was also viewed and its mode of operation over the mudflats described.
Attendees, some from the Liverpool area, all gave positive feedback about the event.
A donation was given to the RNLI in recognition of the volunteer time spent with us from 1800hrs- 2030hrs.
