Description
Siddartha is in the final stage of studying for a PhD at the Warwick Manufacturing Centre (Warwick University).
His area of research is in testing driverless vehicles, focusing on safety analysis and identification of test scenarios.
He has given talks at International conferences in USA, Japan, S. Korea, Germany, and Sweden, and is the UK’s representative on the ISO international technical committee for intelligent transportation systems. He is lead author for a new international standard on Low-Speed Automated Driving Systems (for Pods & shuttles).
Siddartha is also an elected member of the IMechE Council, and represent Young Members on various committees.
The talk will be wide ranging, covering the challenges and the way they are being tackled. It will also include some of the research for his PhD.
