750 Formula, the world's longest running formula, is a relatively low cost race series, participation in a competitive season costing under £5,000 inclusive of entry fees, running costs, travel and accommodation. It's a popular outlet for amateur constructors and drivers to hone their craft.
Agenda (please note that timing is approximate):
- 17:00 tour of 750 Formula cars in Coventry Uni labs
- 19:00 fairly short talk on past, present & future of 750 Formula with Q+A
Labs & lecture theatre will be signposted but to give you some idea the labs are on the lower ground floor of the Sir Frank Whittle Building (formerly the Engineering & Computing Building); the refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) will be provided down there.
