Warwickshire Area

We exist to support the professional development of local engineers and to raise the profile of engineering in general.

The Warwickshire Area covers Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, and much of the surrounding area.

We organise a broad portfolio of events to support your professional development... and hopefully to have some fun too! If you have an idea for an event, we'd love to hear it. If you're planning an engineering-related event of your own and would like some support, just ask. Our future events are displayed below. A typical range of events we provide can be seen in our 2019-20 Programme Card.

Almost all of our events are FREE and OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. You don't have to be an engineer to attend - just keen to make friends and learn something new! There's no age limit either - everyone is welcome.

To find out more about us, come along to one of our meetings, or contact us.

We hope to see you at a local event soon!

In addition to our main programme of events, our Retired Engineers section organises a series of lectures in conjunction with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

The IMechE is one of 35 professional engineering institutions in the UK. Some of these institutions have local branches in the Warwickshire area which organise engineering-related events that may be of interest to IMechE members and followers.  Usually, these events are free and open to the general public.

Further details about events organised by these institutions can be found on their respective websites, which are listed below:
