Presenters are members of the Birmingham Centre of the Biomedical Engineering Division of the IMechE, and lecturers of Biomedical engineering at Aston University the Guardian University of the Year 2020.

They will present:
- The latest advancement in postural control with some examples of the use of 3D printing in surgical training and planning.
- The current challenges with respect to cardiovascular diseases and how CFD and experimental fluid mechanics are being used to investigate disease interventions like stents.
- Design, automation and optimisation of medical devices, with a focus on prostheses and surgical implants.
