Technical lecture
03 October 2023 18:00 - 20:00
This event has finished
Description

In July 2021, a huge fire destroyed the recycling plant at Ettington. Caroline Faulkner and Alex Becker will tell us what's been happening to our waste since then, including a new facility in Coventry that "combines the latest in sorting equipment powered by cutting-edge technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics, making it one of the most advanced plants of its size in the world."

Please note that the new plant is still being commissioned so the requested technical expert from Sherbourne Recycling is unable to attend.

======

Refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) available from 18:00; talk will start at 18:30.
There's no need to book (so no need to bring your 'ticket'), but feel free to do so - it'll give us some idea of expected attendance; thanks.
