The need for longer range with electric vehicles is paramount, especially for lorries. Also, the need for safety, with some vehicle batteries delivering 400 Volts and that lithium presents a significant fire hazard. Additionally, it takes a long time to recharge batteries compared to just a few minutes to fill a tank with fuel. Muhammad will outline research into solving these problems.
