Warwickshire Retired Engineers

In addition to our main (usually evening) events, the Warwickshire Retired Engineers group organises a separate programme in conjunction with the local branch of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).  These can be seen on this website and the 2026 programme can be downloaded here.

Booking is compulsory for each of these events and for the morning talks there's a small attendance fee (typically £7) which goes towards the cost of refreshments beforehand and lunch afterwards.  Our lunches are very sociable and provide the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and make friends.

Warwickshire Retired Engineers events are open to everyone: you don't need to be an IMechE (or IET) member, an engineer, or even retired (!) to attend. However, please note a) bookings are not permitted before the Friday 4 weeks prior to the event and b) preference is given to retired members for all visits.
