Description

The Jaguar I-Pace is the first production battery powered vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover.  Launched in mid-2018, it is on sale ahead of all-electric vehicles from established premium competitors.

The I-Pace features a completely new body structure and architecture to optimise the all-electric powertrain installation.  Front & rear motors provide four wheel drive and the large battery gives substantial range.   Extensive attention to noise and vibration issues has resulted in a remarkable level of refinement.

The talk will cover not only the engineering of the vehicle, but include details of in-service experience.

Please arrive from 18:30 for refreshments, the talk will commence at 19:00.
