Technical lecture
23 May 2023 18:30 - 21:00
This event has finished
Description
Industry in Worcestershire is associated with Worcester Sauce, Worcester Royal pottery and possibly Morgan Cars, but Worcester has a long tradition of innovation in engineering and manufacturing. This lecture provides insights into some of those innovations which are rarely publicised.
These include the first practical steam locomotive in the world, and the first internal combustion motor car in the UK.
